Homelab Infrastructure as Code

A personal platform for turning infrastructure practice into repeatable, versioned systems work.

  • 01Creates a safe place to practice automation, recovery, configuration standards, and documentation.
  • 02Turns lab operations into a portfolio of patterns rather than a collection of one-off setup steps.
  • 03Supports the move from traditional infrastructure administration toward platform thinking.

The homelab is becoming the practical side of my platform transition. The goal is not just to run services at home, but to make the environment reproducible enough that changes can be reviewed, repeated, and explained.

This is where I can test infrastructure patterns without risking production systems: versioned configuration, recovery notes, service dependencies, and the operational discipline that sits around automation.

The long-term direction is a lab that looks less like a personal collection of servers and more like a small platform with clear standards.
